Isaura Maenhaut / Anouk Geurts

Born in Bruges on 24 December 1998, Isaura Maenhaut helms Belgium's leading 49erFX.

She and crew Anouk Geurts have sailed together since 2018 and made their Olympic debut at the Tokyo 2020 Games. By finishing fourth at the 2023 World Championship in The Hague they qualified Belgium for Paris 2024.

The pair have since reached the top of the European podium, winning the 49erFX European Championship in La Grande Motte, and remain Belgium's standard-bearers in the women's skiff.

From Ghent and born on 3 April 2000, Anouk Geurts crews for helm Isaura Maenhaut in a partnership that dates back to 2018.

The duo have packed a lot into that time: an Olympic debut at Tokyo 2020, Olympic qualification for Paris 2024 via fourth at the 2023 Worlds, and a European Championship title in La Grande Motte.

Consistent performers on the international circuit, Geurts and Maenhaut are among the crews to watch as the fleet builds toward Los Angeles 2028.
