CLASS APPROVES PROPOSED RULE CHANGES
With voting closed the end of the day September 30, the ballots were tallied and the class approved by 2/3 majority vote, per the 49er Class Constitution, the passage of the proposed rules changes as posted on this website. The 49er Class now submits these to ISAF for ratification.
CLASS RULE SPEC CHANGE
ISAF has approved the Rule Spec change to use the new 49er rig & ‘squarehead" main to be class legal from 1 March 2009. Further, after 1 July 2009 only this equipment will be class legal for Gold Fleet racing in ISAF Graded events (excluding Grade 2 & 3) and Grand Prix Racing. Click here […]
