DYEN/CHRISTIDIS WIN IN SPAIN

Manu Dyan and Stephane Christidis of France won the Princesa Sofia MAPFRE World Cup #3 in Palma, Mallorca, Spain.  The British teams of Chris Draper/Peter Greenhalgh and Stevie Morrison/Ben Rhodes rounded out the podium with respective 2nd & 3rd place.  Full results here Photos and video now uploaded to Channel 49er  Next stop: Hyeres, France.

ISAF WORLD QUALIFIERS ANNOUNCED

ISAF has published the qualification system for the Perth 2011 ISAF Sailing World Championships, the principal qualification event for the 2012 Olympic Sailing Competition. The 49ers will have a quota of 100 boats with the country qualifier being the 2010 European Championships, July 1-10 in Poland. Click here to read the full qualification system
