Frederik Rask / Jakob Precht Jensen

Frederik Rask helms one of Denmark's most experienced 49er crews alongside Jakob Precht Jensen. The pair showed promise early, finishing third at a World Cup event within months of teaming up, and have developed into regular championship contenders.

In 2026 they were a fixture near the top of the fleet, third at the Palma regatta and sixth at the World Championship in Quiberon.

The duo, who have previously challenged for the lead at Kiel Week, are pressing their case for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic cycle.

Born on 6 November 1998, Jakob Precht Jensen is an Olympian who represented Denmark in the 49er at the Tokyo 2020 Games.

Crewing for skipper Frederik Rask, he has been part of a steady Danish climb back toward the front of the fleet, with a third place in Palma and sixth at the 2026 World Championship in Quiberon, plus strong showings at their home-favourite Kiel Week.

The pair are among the teams to watch as the new Olympic cycle toward LA 2028 unfolds.
