Alicia Fras / Elena Barrio Garcia

Alicia Fras is a Canary Islands sailor racing for the Real Club Nautico de Gran Canaria in the 49erFX with crew Elena Barrio.

The pair have been steady performers on the Spanish and international circuit, winning the Copa de Espana in 2025 and taking third at the 2026 Portugal Grand Prix.

They are part of a notably strong Spanish FX contingent pushing toward Los Angeles 2028.

Elena Barrio, also of the Real Club Nautico de Gran Canaria, crews for Alicia Fras in one of Spain's competitive 49erFX teams.

Among the Canary Islands' deep crop of skiff sailors, the duo claimed the 2025 Spanish national title and a podium at the 2026 Portugal Grand Prix.

They are building experience at international level as they chase a place at the LA 2028 Olympics.
