Jena Mai Seaton / Christina Andersen
Denmark’s most experienced 49erFX crew, 10th at Quiberon 2026
One of the most decorated sailors in the fleet, Jena Mai Seaton (formerly Jena Hansen) won 49erFX bronze at the Rio 2016 Olympics and a World Championship title in 2017 with former partner Katja Salskov-Iversen.
After stepping away from competition, a period in which she married, had a child and worked as a national coach, she returned to the helm in 2025 with new crew Christina Andersen, setting a course toward the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics.
The comeback has started strongly, with a top-eight finish at Kiel Week and a provisional third place at the 2026 Princess Sofia Cup.
Christina Andersen, who sails out of Hellerup Sejlklub, crews for returning Olympic medallist Jena Mai Seaton in Denmark's reshaped 49erFX campaign, the pair both named to the Danish national sailing team for 2026.
Joining forces in 2025, they used the season to build through intensive training, debuting with a strong top-eight at Kiel Week before reaching a provisional third place at the Princess Sofia Cup in early 2026.
Partnering one of the sport's most experienced helms, Andersen is well placed to develop quickly as the duo target the Los Angeles 2028 Games.
