Jena Hansen / Katja Salskov-Iversen

Jena Mai Hansen was born December 10, 1988, sailing for Hellerup Sejlklub. Before 49erFX she raced the Musto Skiff. Teaming with Katja Salskov-Iversen from 2011, the pair won the 2015 European Championship in Porto, Rio 2016 bronze, and the 2017 World title in Matosinhos. The 2018 Aarhus Worlds marked their final regatta together; Hansen retired that October and was named Denmark's 49erFX national coach the same year. She also sailed select legs of the 2017-18 Volvo Ocean Race aboard Vestas 11th Hour Racing. In 2020 she married and took the surname Seaton, becoming a mother to two daughters while continuing to coach. In April 2025, aged 36, she announced a comeback with new partner Christina Andersen, targeting LA 2028, crediting a new Danish elite program built around supporting athletes with families.

Katja Steen Salskov-Iversen was born August 19, 1994, sailing for Hellerup Sejlklub and Yachtklubben Furesøen. Partnering Jena Hansen from 2011, she helped win the 2015 European title in Porto, Rio 2016 bronze, and the 2017 World title, with the 2018 Aarhus Worlds their last regatta together. She studied civil engineering (data analysis/business focus) alongside her sailing career. She has since moved into professional grand-prix racing as a strategist for the ROCKWOOL Denmark SailGP Team, alternating in that role with fellow Danish Olympian Anne-Marie Rindom.
