Hugo Revil / Karl Devaux

Hugo Revil / Karl Devaux
France’s third crew at the 2026 Worlds — 23rd in Quiberon
Hugo Revil is one of the most successful youth sailors France has produced, winning two 29er World Championship titles, including Youth Worlds gold, and two French national titles with crew Karl Devaux, much of it honed at the La Baule training centre.
The pair made a sensational senior statement at the 2026 World Championship in Quiberon, racing to the front of the fleet on the opening day in front of a roaring home crowd.
Revil is among the brightest French prospects of the new Olympic cycle.
Karl Devaux shares one of the standout junior records in French sailing with helm Hugo Revil: two 29er world titles and two national championships, built over four years of hard work at La Baule.
Reunited in the 49er, the young pair lit up the opening day of the 2026 Worlds on home water in Quiberon, surging into the lead group.
Devaux aims to convert prodigious youth talent into senior success toward Los Angeles 2028.
