Following the 2013 Worlds, 49er sailors were invited to participate in a survey about our events and formats. Many aspects of regatta formats were pushed in the previous 12 months. Following the ISAF annoucement of the 2016 Rio Olympic format, the Format Committee will reconvene to create a championship format that will work for the 49er and 49erFX classes.
