We’re filming the first race of the day in full at every major 49er, 49erFX and Nacra 17 regatta in 2027, and we’re looking for a partner to back it.
Most people who follow Olympic skiff and foiling cat racing only ever see the highlights. A few minutes of capsizes and finishes, cut together after the fact. The racing itself mostly goes unseen: who picked the right side on the first beat, who gambled on a shift and lost, how a leader at the top mark ended up tenth at the finish.
In 2027 we want to show all of it. This is a new way to film sailing. We don’t stream it live. We take the time to produce each race properly, and people can watch it whenever they want. The 49er, 49erFX and Nacra 17 classes will film the first race of each day from start to finish, then add on screen graphics, analytics, positions and gains, and commentary from people who know these boats inside out. Fans get to sit through a whole race the way the sailors lived it, with experts explaining what’s happening and why, on their own time.
We already know people want to watch this. Three race replays from the 2026 season have passed 50,000 views between them:

Those numbers keep growing as we release replays more regularly. A full season, with a race from every major event, gives fans a reason to come back week after week.
The 2027 season covers six major events: the Trofeo Princesa Sofía in Palma, French Olympic Week in Hyères, Kiel Week, the World Championships in Polans, the Junior Worlds in Lake Como or the LA Olympic test event, and the European Championships.
What a sponsor gets
Your logo on the thumbnail of every video, and “Sponsored by [Company]” in every video title. Our commentators will mention your company during the race itself, so your name sits inside the content rather than beside it. Halfway through each race we’ll run a short 30 to 45 second ad for your brand, placed where viewers are already hooked and watching to see how it ends. We’ll also cut short clips from each race for social media, carrying your logo, and post them across the class channels.
What it costs and where the money goes
We’re not doing this to make money. We want more people watching our racing, and we want fans to get closer to the sport than a highlights reel allows.
Each event means four days of filming with a professional camera team, an editor turning the races around, and commentators who know the fleets. Then there are the RIBs and the fuel to run them all day, plus flights and accommodation for the crew. The bill changes from venue to venue, and sponsorship helps us cover a real part of it.
The full 2027 season is €30,000, which works out at €5,000 per event. A single event is €8,000.
Start with one event
You don’t need to sign up for the whole season. You can back just the first regatta of 2027, the Trofeo Princesa Sofía in Palma, see how the audience responds, and take it from there. If you decide to stay on for the year, the €8,000 counts toward the season price.
