Allan Nørregaard / Peter Lang

Allan Nørregaard was born March 19, 1981, in Kolding, and built one of Denmark's most consistent 49er campaigns through the late 2000s into the London cycle. Partnered with Peter Lang, he took bronze at the 2012 Worlds in Zadar immediately before Olympic bronze at London. He then moved into the Nacra 17 for Rio 2016, finishing 12th with a different partner. After stepping back from competitive campaigning he moved into coaching, now working as a High Performance Sailing Coach with America One Racing, specializing in advanced skiff and multihull performance.

Peter Ørsted Lang, sailing out of Kolding Sejlklub, was born June 12, 1989, in Vejle. He partnered Allan Nørregaard for the London 2012 cycle, taking Worlds bronze in Zadar just before Olympic bronze at London. In 2014 he crewed briefly for fellow Danish gold medalist Jonas Warrer, winning the 49er division at the US Sailing Olympic Classes Regatta in Miami.
