Vilma Bobeck / Ebba Berntsson

Vilma Bobeck is an Olympic medallist, having won 49erFX silver at the Paris 2024 Games with Rebecca Netzler.

When Netzler retired, Bobeck rebuilt with new crew Ebba Berntsson, and the partnership flew, taking silver at the 2025 World Championship in Cagliari in their first championship together.

They then dominated the Los Angeles Sailing Grand Slam on the 2028 Olympic waters, winning seven of fifteen races, marking Bobeck as a leading gold contender.

Ebba Berntsson stepped up to crew for Olympic silver medallist Vilma Bobeck and immediately delivered, helping the new Swedish pair win World Championship silver at Cagliari in 2025 in their very first event together.

The duo went on to dominate the LA Grand Slam on the future Olympic course, a powerful statement for their Los Angeles 2028 ambitions.

Berntsson has quickly established herself at the front of the FX fleet.
