Lauri Lehtinen & Kalle Bask of Finland bested 40 other teams over 8 races in the prelude to the Worlds in Perth, Australia. Manu Dyen & Stephane Christidis of France and Marcin Czajkowski and Jacek Piasecki of Poland. The top Aussie team was Steven Thomas with Jasper Warren in 6th overall.
