The 2024 49er World Championship in Lanzarote will be delayed by one week from the original plan to occur from Marc 4-10, 2024. There was a conflict in the global sailing calendar, and there was no problem for the class to shift a week to clear away the conflict.
The 2024 Worlds will be a key event in the lead-up to the Paris Olympics, and this shift should allow for the best possible racing for our sailors.
